Question by J.R.: Thinking of shopping a cabin that’s “off grid.” Anyone have knowledge with solar energy living?
I’m privately wondering what kind of upkeep is concerned with solar systems which energy off grid homes. We would usually be during a cabin a couple of days a month many of a time…except during prolonged vacations. Is it even probable to say a total-home solar complement in this kind of situation?

Many people have sport cabins around here with no power. They make use of low voltage lights or propane lights. Then they have propane fridge, propane stove. If we have solar, we need batteries to store up a energy so we can have lights during night.
